Home Workout Must Haves
Are you wanting to start working out from home but have absolutely ZERO idea where to start?! Let me help you with some products I believe is the “starter pack” for at home workouts.
Lets talk about a couple of sources for where to find products. If you don’t have anything in your home for fitness equipment and think I don’t want to buy new but how do I even look for it. You can always find stuff on Amazon if your not wanting to leave your house this is a great place to find everything you need in one order! Walmart will have somethings along with a good deal Facebook market place is always a great source for used equipment.
Alright lets get to this starter pack.
Dumbbells
I think this is the absolute number one thing you could get you can accomplish so much with just a set of dumbbells. Depending on what your goals are is going to determine your weight that you will need. I recommend 15s, 10s, and 5s, this will give you an adequate amount of growth as you progress through moves.
2. Resistance Super Bands
I like these to for mobility improvement and warm ups. You can utilize these for certain moves when a dumb won’t allow the range of motion you are needing to do.
3. Yoga Mat
This is more of a mat so you can have some cushion on your hard floors if your working out in your garage, or a hardwood floor in your house. Lay this out for ab workouts or anything you have to get on the floor for and needing extra padding.
4. Exercise stability ball
If you don’t want to spend the money on a workout bench this is a great alternative for bench press as you can change the angle and achieve incline presses with it too.
5. Booty Bands
This is great add on for some smaller muscle groups on the lower body. Using these to warm up before a demanding leg day or even stability for certain workout moves. These will be sure to make those legs and glutes feel the burn.
